Dr. Larson graduated, cum laude, from Northwestern
Chiropractic College in Bloomington, MN in 2008 and has over 10 years of
experience working in direct patient care. Upon graduating, she joined
her former classmate and colleague, Dr. Michele Renee in her starting 3
Bears Chiropractic & Wellness in South Minneapolis, where she
stayed, building her early practice for a year and a half. In early
2010, she realized that it was the right time to step out on her
own and open the practice she had been dreaming of for quite some time,
Touch of Health Wellness Center.
Dr. Larson uses a "full body"
approach to the care that she gives her patients. knowing that
everything is connected, she chooses to address not only the source of
one's concerns, but also address the further reaching effects of those
concerns. She strongly believes that maintaining joint motion and
proper neurological function are the keys to restoring and maintaining
proper body functioning.

Dr. Joanna Prokes D.C. is a Minnesota grown chiropractor inspired to
join the profession in high school when learning that chiropractic can
help with colds and sinus infections. Her passion is to balance the
body to help promote the body's own healing mechanisms so each person
can live to their fullest potential. She finds that each persons key to healing lies within themselves and loves supporting and unraveling each persons unique keys to their own health.
After high school she gained
her Bachelor of Arts at Jamestown College in North Dakota with a double
major in Biology and Art. In 2010 she graduated from Northwestern
Health Sciences University and became a licensed chiropractor. After working to build her own traveling business she did doctor Libby's maternity leave and soon realized how similar their styles and dreams were and stayed on as an employee until partnering in the summer of 2014. Together she and Dr. Libby wish to give the best quality care keeping the patients best interest in mind and growing a fantastic office with a genuine personal care approach.
She currently resides in Prior Lake with her beautiful daughter, Rose and cat, Cheese. She also enjoys
hobbies including spending time with family, singing and sports. She also recently started moonlighting as a painting instructor at Brush Studio in St. Louis Park to embody her passion for art.
Valerie began her massage journey in 1999, while living in Atlanta and noticed - while sitting in yet another traffic jam! - how stressed everyone in the cars next to her seemed! She graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in March 2000, and took testing for the National Certification Board to become Nationally Certified.
Valerie had originally seen herself working in a Spa, de-stressing her clients. However, after learning more and more about massage, the body, and emotional distress, she began integrating many of the techniques she learned over the years and works to relax her clients, while using the modalities needed to help her clients relieve pain, tension, repetitive motion issues, sports related issues, trauma and so the list goes on! She takes the time to get to know her clients and work out a solution for them.
Valerie has worked in various spas and massage clinics throughout the years, before opening her own practice in Minnetonka in the summer of 2014 within a psychotherapy practice. However, things changed when the owners of the practice did not renew their lease at the end of December 2016. By some strange chance, Dr. Libby and Dr. Joanna found her and she has been working happily alongside them since Jan. 2017!
Valerie hails from Canada, where her earlier life was spent in Toronto, Ontario, and later in Ottawa, Ontario. She currently resides in Hopkins, where she lives with her daughter and their dog, Zoe (aka The Bad Dog), along with the many dogs who have left them along the way, but still remain in their hearts.
